Overview
Incognito History helps you view and manage your private browsing activity. We design the product to minimize data collection and keep users in control.
Data we process
• Web history (incognito): page URL, title, and visit timestamps.
• Device/extension identifiers: a random extension GUID and browser ID used to pair devices.
• Account information (optional): if you sign in, we may use your email to link your account across devices.
How we use the data
• Show your history in the dashboard.
• Sync your own data across your devices when you're signed in.
• Improve reliability (e.g., retry/caching) and detect errors.
What we do NOT do
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not share your data with third parties, except essential processors needed to operate the service (e.g., hosting).
• We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
Storage & retention
• Event data is cached locally in the extension and sent securely to our backend for your dashboard.
• Retention depends on your plan settings (e.g., 7/30/90/365 days, or custom for enterprise).
• You can delete your data from the dashboard at any time.
Security
• Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Access to production systems is restricted and audited.
Your choices
• You can disable the extension, clear local cache, or delete your account/data from the dashboard.
• For data access or deletion requests, contact us at Support
Children
